Sakura Tea is made with edible cherry blossoms, pickled in salt and ume plum vinegar. Used as a special drink for celebrations such as Hanami (cherry blossom festival) and for weddings or other special occasions, it is a truly unique flavour of Japan.
When steeped, it has a subtle but unique flowery flavour. You can enjoy it on its own, or add it to green tea or other food creations such as jelly, cookies and cakes.
Ingredients: cherry blossoms, salt, umeboshi vinegar (ume plum, salt, red shiso)
