An exceptional tea with intense exotic floral aromas.
Da Wu Ye is a unique varietal that takes its name from the large deep green appearance of the leaves. "Xue Pian" literally translates to snowflake, indicating this is a winter tea. Winter Dan Cong teas (usually picked early November to late December) capture a concentrated essence of flavours in the late-harvested leaves. This special batch is lightly oxidized and roasted to highlight the luscious floral essence of the leaves.
Holding the cup close to my nose and sipping slowly with my eyes closed makes me feel that I am in a garden surrounded by exotic flowers. What a magic moment with this tea!
