2012 Xi Ding-Ba Da Wild Tree Cake

This Sheng Pu Er cake is made with the rare wild tea leaves from trees in Xishuangbanna (Southern Yunnan). Located on the south of the Lancang (Mekong) River, Bada Mountain (recently merged with Xiding-Bada) is one of the six famous ancient Pu Er tea mountains. Its brew achieves a deep golden colour, a velvety texture and moderately bittersweet fruitiness, culminating in a creamy honey finish on the tongue.
