The deep emerald colour of this Sencha will surprise you with the fruity and floral scent of the dry leaves. The tea bushes of Maroyaka Sencha spent some time under the shade, resulting in a softer variation of Sencha. Also, its leaves are steamed longer than other Sencha, which breaks down the fibres further and gives the infusion a darker colour and a much deeper flavour.
